Somehow, these division rivals have agreed on a trade. Knicks Trade76 * Isaiah Hartenstein $9,245,121 69 * Jericho Sims $1,927,896 $2,092,344TOTAL: $11,173,017 Celtics Trade78 * Naz Reid $12,950,400 $13,986,432 $15,022,464BOS 2024 1st Rd Pick BOS 2025 2nd Rd Pick TOTAL: $12,950,400 125% Rule: Knicks' $11,173,017 x 1.25 = $13,966,271.25 which is > the incoming salary. Fuck the Celtics Sam Presti

Accept. Also Fuck the Knicks. 😂 Unfortunately, Naz and Porzingis don’t fit in the sim. I love the kid and hate attaching a pick to him to get here, but this deal diversifies my front court skill sets a bit and hopefully gives us a slightly improved chance at the title. This summer will get dicey but I think my path to keeping both free agents is pretty straight forward. Nice dealing Walt Frazier

Worth saying: I really didn't want to move iHart. LOVE his game, and I do think he'll fit well with OKC. But the reality of what I've inherited here in NYK (and the additional reality of how FA works in this league, or at least, did in D5) meant I had to be smart. Either lose iHart for nothing, or make a deal.
I am a fan of Naz, and his contract made this deal potable for me. The picks are nice, and yes they'll be cheap players and, who knows. I do like drafting. But most of the value is Naz and his contract, and clearing the way to more safely keep OG on the squad.
Good dealing with you Sam. Truly. But I hope your city is razed to the ground.
