Bucks Accept
Time to move on from the Giannis experience and send him home to his daddy Tom Izzo! I really like picking up Kawhi as a replacement for Giannis, especially in the sim! I also get Harden and with this trade making sure I freed up 40M in room to be able to resign him should it go that high and picking up nice depth in Bones, Russ, and Theis.
I'm also betting on 2 firsts in better drafts then the 2024 draft and hoping Tom struggles with giannis and the 2025 pick turns out in the 15-20 range and the 2027 1st well by then PG and mids should be old, really old and the pick might be pretty nice.
All in all I'm heartbroken to lose Giannis, but very excited so see what this line up can do if I'm lucky enough to get in the play in and hopefully the playoffs!
Big thanks to Tom Izzo for the past 36 hours or so negotiating back and fourth, we finally got a good one here. Good luck with Giannis!
Harden Dame Kawhi BI Kessler
Westbrook Bones Beasley Dougie Theis
Pretty intriguing imo

My stance stays firm on this, trading Giannis for a older injured downgrade without receiving any top young prospects of any sorts should be a fireable offense and Amare would be fired before he managed to pick up the phone and call the league office. The list of picks doesn't impress me either, 4 picks in the 50s and 2 in the 20s won't even get you a top 10 pick combined. Also really do not believe he's heartbroken over this since this is the 4th time he trades Giannis. Reject
Quick Edit: Also big reminder that he's trading his star player in his prime for a player who hasn't been able to play in the playoffs for 3 seasons after already trading his 2026 first away. It's a complete mess of a trade by a team thats getting worse.

2027 Clippers: corpse of Paul George & Middleton, with 33 year old Giannis = 20s pick - while 29 year old Giannis' current team with Dame, Middleton, and Ingram is a top 10 pick
Lol
Also, you're not allowed to trade Giannis except for a plethora of young prospects that I personally like, that might not pan out...and if they do, will take years.
But by the way, we're going to fear monger Giannis walking every day while you continue to lose games.

I'm going to reject. This simply isn't a good enough return for Giannis and places the bucks in extreme jeopardy given they have traded their 26 1st.
Giannis had 4 years on his contract, there's no rush to trade him for a subpar package like this

This trade is being void and will now be part of revised 3 team trade!

GMs cannot change their mind about a trade once they've posted the trade thread or replied with an acceptance.
Please do not post another trade involving these players while this one is still being voted on.

Makes more sense when one team attempts to back out.

Doesn’t really make sense if both teams agree That’s bush league. Either you want to trade or you don’t. You can’t back out of a deal IRL after submitting it to the league. Don’t post a trade if you might change your mind 12 hours later.

I could understand if the trade was already passed and both teams tried to renege, but technically this trade would still be in the legal process of passing a trade, which you could argue is our TC. I can’t imagine both teams wanting to back out before things are legally bound and not being able to irl.
